All non-surgical treatments are performed by Dr. Marsha Davis, our medical director. Dr. Davis is a board certified physician and pharmacist. You can trust that your results will be both beautiful and safe.

At Solaris Medical Spa, we insist on personal consultations before any treatment is performed. Often, men and women seek solutions that are more drastic than necessary. We will carefully determine and recommend solutions that are right for you. Once a treatment plan is in place, we will guide you in selecting products that are both gentle and effective in order to maintain your newly transformed skin.

Many find freckles, or ‘ephelides’ as they are called in dermatology, cute. Often they are harmless little brown specks around our nose or cheeks. They are the result of sun exposure and an attempt by our skin to respond to this exposure by packaging melanin pigment to absorb the ultraviolet rays of the sun. Unfortunately in skin that has developed freckles our skin has not packaged this melanin properly and this is displayed as a ‘freckle’.

Removing freckles is a fairly straightforward process and laser treatment is highly effective for treating them. You should see a dermatologist before having any brown spots removed as they may have the potential to be cancerous. A dermatologist can check them to be sure they can be safely removed.
