Dr. Friedman has been involved in the development of several new dermatological laser systems and techniques that are now commonly used around the world and he continues to be involved in the development of leading-edge technology to help find better solutions for today's most common skin conditions.
Many find freckles, or ‘ephelides’ as they are called in dermatology, cute. Often they are harmless little brown specks around our nose or cheeks. They are the result of sun exposure and an attempt by our skin to respond to this exposure by packaging melanin pigment to absorb the ultraviolet rays of the sun. Unfortunately in skin that has developed freckles our skin has not packaged this melanin properly and this is displayed as a ‘freckle’.
Removing freckles is a fairly straightforward process and laser treatment is highly effective for treating them. You should see a dermatologist before having any brown spots removed as they may have the potential to be cancerous. A dermatologist can check them to be sure they can be safely removed.

I must say that after my first age spot treatment with Dr. Friedman I am extremely happy with my appearance. My face looks so much better and he knew just what to do to clear my spots. He is very thoughtful and a genuine professional, making me feel so comfortable and safe. I am lucky to have access to one of the top practitioners in the field. He is a very skilful doctor and I would recommend him at any time for any kind of esthetic treatment.
